Risk Management Limited were initially employed in June 2015 to undertake a Preliminary Contamination Assessment at a former coachworks and vehicle repair garage in Kentish Town, London. RML were subsequently employed to undertake an additional Contamination Assessment to provide further information.

Seven drive-in-sampler boreholes with concrete coring were undertaken in order to install gas/groundwater monitoring standpipes, collect samples for contamination testing and further characterise the soil conditions on site.

Dynamic Headspace Analysis was undertaken using a Photoionisation Detector (PID). Groundwater analysis was undertaken using an interface probe, peristaltic pump and a multi-parameter water quality meter.
